ObamaCare Round Up and LinkFest: PART II

The Other McCain has a review of Michelle Malkin’s overview of the way Michelle Obama treated patients at the University of Chicago Hospital.  It is not pretty.

Gateway Pundit has information indicating that Obama’s Health Care Advisors want to euthenize Americans who can no longer pay more in taxes then they can receive.  Didn’t I say that OregonCare is ALREADY doing that?  Oh, that’s right, I did. ActivelyFuzed, what do you say to this?

Okie reports that  ACORN  is going after those who disagree with the President on ObamaCare.

Similar events happened in Baton Rouge recently, where ACORN siced the Police on people who where discussing ObamaCare away from the event.

The Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler also has some info on a Nurse forced to preform Infantacidal Eugenics, after she was threatened with letters in her Curiculum Vitae accusing her of Insubordination and Patient Abandonment should she refuse. How long, under ObamaCare, till they use this to force Nurses to Euthenize +65 year olds who are refusing to comply with their End-of-life Counselor’s recomendations?  We already know the Top Advisors of Obama in this field are recomending this option for all those who get sick but don’t have Private Health Insurance.

Hot Air Reports that ObamaCare Activists are just ignoring the facts altogether.

At least Newt is trying to come up with something.

The Raptor Falls

As a young man who seeks to serve and protect the Constitution of the Untied States of America, it saddens and angers me when I see a beautiful weapon laid to rest before it’s time for reasons of politics and budgets.

In Obama’s rush to bankrupt the United States of America, the world’s most advanced War Fighter, the F-22 Raptor, has been laid in the ground.

For those unfamiliar with this beautiful piece of Aeronatuics, the F-22 Raptor is the world’s first true Stealth Fighter.  On top of that, the Raptor is capable of acting in all of the following roles with no modifications, save a changeout of it’s weapon load outs.

Electronic Warfare and Countermeasures

Ground Attack

Bomber

Air Superiority Fighter

Interceptor Fighter

Airborne Early Warning Aircraft

Anti-Submarine Warfare

In short, everything that the F-117, B-2, F-16, F-15E, F/A-18E, E/A-6B Prowler, etc.

In fact, the only small aircraft I wouldn’t replace with the F-22 is the A-10, because the A-10 has that beautiful chain gun built to penetrate the armor on a TANK, and the Harrier, because that is going to be replaced with the F-35 JSF.

So why is this amazing weapons system being scrapped?  Because Obama needs that 350 Million for his Healthcare Plan.  That’s right, Obama is scrapping the most potent tool for Freedom in favor of making us Dependent upon the Government.

Obama, you make me sick.

Dealergate

Well, just when you thought that Dealergate was over and the dust had settled, the whole brough-ha-ha flares up yet again.  Michelle Malkin has the details.

It would seem that the President doesn’t like it when the Congress disagrees with him.  Here’s hoping they show a bigger spine then they did over the F-22 Debate…

ObamaCare Link Fest Update: Changed size of Picture

Well, this was going to be an anylsis on ObamaCare, but it has, for the most part, become a Link Fest.

healthcare map

Gateway Pundit:

Gateway Pundit examines an Investors Business Daily article on the program.

“Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day” of the year the legislation becomes law.

So, in other words, if we go looking for new coverage after the bill comes into effect, we are stuck on Government Healthcare.  Yeah!  Not.

Gateway Pundit also declares the Good News that the public is turning on ObamaCare.

Michelle Malkin:

Michelle Malking also discusses the IBD article.

Michelle also highlighted several casualties of ObamaCare.

Her column in the papers today goes even deeper, and is a must read.

Kansas Meadowlark:

The Meadowlark has his own analysis of the plan, as well as several videos about the upcoming ObamaCare plan.

Hot Air:

Apparently, President Hopey One Obama is urging us to hurry and pass the bill before anyone reads it.

Jawa Report:

Even the Jawas are getting in on the examinations of the IBD article.

Pirate’s Cove:

The Pirates are highlighting the fact that even SEX will get more expensive under ObamaCare.

Red State:

According to Red State, Senator Snowe is sayign that Obama is wrong, we need to slow the train, not speed it up.

cl healthcareH/t: RedState for the above cartoon

Sweetness and Light:

According to S&L, ObamaCare will kill New Yorkers.

Heritage Foundation:

-The Foundry:

The Foundry presents my preferred solution to the “Health Care Crisis.”

Also, According to The Foundry, the ObamaCare Bill will allow the Government to send Government Employees into your house to determine whether or not you are raising your childer the “Correct Way.”

The Foundry also reports that the ObamaCare bill is FULL of bad ideas.

-Insider Online:

On a bit of a Tangent, The Heritage Foundation reports that Cap and Tax will bring the cost of Health Care up higher to pay for the electricity needed to use MRI’s and X-Ray’s.

Claire McCaskill Tea Party Mk. II UPDATE: Cops called on St. Louis Tea Party

I just got back from the Health Care Tea Party in front of Claire McCaskill’s office. That was fun, if small. It seems that only 20 people saw the message to come and protest, including a pair of nuns of the Franciscan Order, who delivered a number of petitions signed during the protest to the aides working in her office.

I informed them of the 1600 hours (4:00 pm) Tea Party at Emanuel Cleaver’s office, and hope to see my readers there this after noon. Until then, I plan on eating my lunch, and hydrating.

I asked the question there, and will ask it again here, If Obama chose a Eugenicist for his Science Czar, who will he chose for his Health Care Czar?

Michelle Malkin has more on the nationwide protests, including pics from our buddies in St. Louis.

Gateway Pundit has more info on the St. Louis Tea Party, where not only did they lock the doors and close the blinds (which they did at ours) but also called the cops to force them off of Public Land.  That is absolutely disgusting, and Claire McCaskill should be ashamed.  The Tea Parties have not been violent.  They have not been rude.  They are the Politest protests I have ever seen.  And Claire calls out the police to force them off public land?

One thing that did piss me off at ours, was the locking out of the Franciscan Nuns who where out with us, when they went in to deliver the petitions.  I had to pull out my Cell Phone and call them to ask them to open the doors because they where not letting us in (we had several people going in either individually or with a partner to complain).  It was disgusting.

Sotomayor Targeting American Hero

As Sotomayor’s numbers fall through the floor and just keep going, her backers have decided to investigate the firefighter at the center of the New Haven Case which was recently overturned by the Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision, and a 9-0 censure of Sotomayor.

Melt the congressional phone lines, and tell your Senator or Congressman NOT TO APPROVE SOTOMAYOR.  Justice should be blind, but Sotomayor and Obama wish to remove the blindfold, and ignore the law in favor of their passing whims and emotions.

Cap and Trade Cyanide: On Ice

I find it amusing that in the coldest year of the millenium, and in the last two decades to boot, Cap and Trade is on ICE.

It seems that Dingy Harry wasn’t kidding when he told Andrea Mitchell that the Democrats did not, in fact, have the votes in the Senate to pass the bill.

Thank God.

Thus, they have decided to Ice the bill until the after the August Recess.  Appropriate timing if this spring was any indication of the coming winter.

However, we must not rest on our laurels.  We must rally around the cause, and pursue our retreating opponents, lest they regroup and attack us stronger then ever.

In related news, T. Boone Pickens has decided to drop wind power in the Texas Panhandle, and is selling off the windfarms.

Not Another Stimulus Bill!

It seems like a bad Horror story, surpassed only by the Amnesty attempts.  The Stimulus is back, and iwth more Pork then ever. This despite the fact that the government has spent, at most, EIGHT PERCENT of the previous alotment.  8%.  What happened to the “THE WORLD IS BURNING AND THE STIMULUS IS THE SOLUTION!” running-around-like-a-chicken-with-its-head-cut-off Chicken Little act the government was putting on not even a year ago?  Seriously, what happened to it?  And why where the first jobs (and about 70% of the spent funds) used to grow government?

Washington’s Reputation is burning to the ground, and Obama is calling out the tune for the Pyromaniacs to dance too.

As Gateway Pundit has shown, Obama’s approval index is at -5! And Consumer Confidence is down to -52! And the government wants ANOTHER stimulus bill!? (And they WONDER why we feel disenfranchised…)

Whatever happened to the Free Market?  America is the modern Atlas, and the foundation upon which he stands is Capitalism.  His dias is built upon gold and silver.  And yet they seek to tear that pillar down, and send the Earth crashign down.

The only good thing about the Stimulus is that it convinced Conservatives that our, “Don’t F****** Tread On Me!” ideal doesn’t work in a world that seeks to brand us as racists and members of the National Socialist German Worker’s Party. (Seriously, Socialist and Worker in one party name, how did the people of Germany NOT see this one comming?  He broadcast it for God’s sake!)  We are being forced to put away the Rhetorical rapiers and take up Rhetorical XM307’s.  (Hey, Pentagon, thank you for eliminating that Weapon’s system by the way.  It’s not like it was the best Platoon Level Support Weapon’s System in development or anything.  Oh wait…)  And it is about time too.  We are dealing with people so wrapped up in fantasy, that reality doesn’t reach them, and Rapiers will bounce off of them.

But, enough with my gripes towards the Pentagon.

Onwards with the Stimulus debate.

Michelle Malkin quoted a great memo from the GOP dealing with the failures of Porkulus.

Included among the abuses of funds are

  1. Spending to preserve current jobs, without attempts to create new jobs
  2. Transportation and Education Bureaucrats spending the money on themselves
  3. The creation of a “Job” for the sole purpose of filling out Grants for other Stimulus Jobs
  4. The creation of support jobs for the above
  5. Spending money on Propaganda Signs to promote the Stimulus

Ain’t it a great system?

At least this is hurting Obama’s chances of re-election, and pointing towards a Conservative Revolution in the House and Senate.

The Heritage Foundation has a great article on the Subject.

Cap and Trade Cyanide: The Constitution

I have decided that I shall read HR 2454.  The first thing I saw when i went to GovTrack to read it was a disclaimer.

This bill is very large, and loading it may cause your web browser to perform sluggishly, or even freeze. This is especially true for old and/or bad browsers. As an alternative you can download the PDF of the bill or read the text on THOMAS.

I am not off to a very good start so far…

It took me from 1248 Hours to 1255 Hours to load the bill, and from 1258 Hours to 1300 Hours to load the 300 page amendment.

For the record, this article shall be about nothing other than the Constitutionality of the Bill in accordance with Article 1, Section 8 and Article 1, Section 9 of the United States Constitution, the powers and limits of the Legislature of the United States.  If I find more then five items that violate the Constitution, I will go no further, and label it Unconstitutional.  I don’t think I will have to go very far…

In Section 201 of Title II Subtitle A, they discuss ammending 42 United States Code 6833, which allows government to control Building Codes.  43 U.S.C. 6833 is unconstitutional.  Nowhere in Article 1, Section 8 does the Constitution the power to tell you how you can or cannot build your home.  In accordance with Amendment X of the Bill of Rights, unless that power has been granted to the State or Local Government through the formation of the supreme document of the State, City, or Town, rests solely upon the individual.  But it does not, and cannot, rest in the hands of the Federal Government, unless a new Amendment is added to the Constitution of the United States.

Included within the section is a description of Consensus Based Standards.  If this is anything like the current “Consensus” on Global Warming, then it will really mean that whoever has the money to bully their way into public opinion, and a motive to do so (i.e. General Electric) can determine the new standards for their own fun and profit.

Also included, is a mandate that all houses must have an Energy Audit before they can be sold.  Yes, that is right, you must pass an Energy Audit before you can sell your house.  And if the standards change after the audit, then you will need to get yet another Audit.  And the Audits look to be funded directly out of your pocket, not to mention the money spent on making a home come up to code, will drive up the cost of your home, and reduce the number of people looking into purchasing your home, thus damaging Interstate Commerce in accordance with the standard used to gain Federal Control over private, subsistence farmers under FDR’s administration.

That’s 1.

There is a lot in this bill relating to the flimsy interpretation of the Interstate Commerce Clause produced by the Roosevelt Administration as part of the New Deal.  However, the spirit of the clause deals with the building of roads and canals, the maintenance of roads and canals, the power to prevent the creation of interstate tarifs, nd the enforcement of a central currency to protect the individual states from each other.

That’s 2.

And then you get to Title III, which discusses Global Warming and how to sequester CO2.  If Carbon Dioxide is such a problem, despite the sheer insignifigance fo the gas in the atmosphere, then Columbia University has invented an atmospheric CO2 scrubber which can remove 1 ton of CO2 from the atmosphere a day, without giving the government undue control of the population.  However, Al Gore and others in the Church of Global Warmign have rejected it, as it does not grant them their real goal, control over the population, and power for themselves.

Foul Ball.

Subtitle B of Title III claims that it will save jobs, however, the Congressional Budget Office report admits that it is based off of Star Trek Post-Scarcity Fantasy economics in the analysis of the report.  The Heritage Foundation does not throw out real world economics, and an analysis of the effects on Spain of the passage of a similar bill shows that this will devastate an already unshakey economy.

Foul Ball.

Title V produces the K, and HR 2454 goes down swinging.

In accordance with the Equal Protection Clause of the United States Constitution, all citizens are supposed to be treated equally under the law, with the theory that justice is blind to race, religion, creed, occupation, wealth, or sex.  Title V gives special treatment among Farmers to those who farm ethanol.  A crop that would require 109% of current total acreage to produce the energy needed to fuel the United States in 2008, with growing demand around the world.

Strike Three, You’re Unconstitutional.
